“Peace is both God’s gift and a human achievement. As a gift of God, it is entrusted to all men and women, who are called to attain it.”
Pope Francis

ANNUAL EVENTS
ANNUAL EVENTS
ICYC
Early March
Boise Area
The Idaho Catholic Youth Conference (ICYC) is an annual event for High School students where we engage them in music, entertainment, talks, and most importantly the sacraments. The weekend is a high energy event that allows for youth to be freely be themselves and encounter our Lord in His Church. This event is a parish-based event, meaning each registrant must attend with their parish group. ICYC is often an encounter point for our youth.
Jr High Rally
Fall
Throughout Idaho
Providing our Jr High Students (6th-8th) an opportunity to have a high energy, engaging, faith centered event is crucial at this time that many are starting to decide if they are going to live out their faith. We offer 3 Jr High Rallies throughout the state (Boise area, Eastern Idaho, Northern Idaho) to make this one day event more accessible and attainable for our parishes.
Newman Conference
Fall
Varies Per Year
In collaboration with the Offices of Catholic Schools and Religious Education in the Diocese of Boise we offer a formation weekend that rotates every 3 years (Big conference, Regional Conference, Ministry Specific Conference). This weekend aims to fulfill three key areas for our Youth Ministers, DREs, Catechists, and Catholic School teachers: formation, a deep prayer experience, and networking.
JrHigh Camp provides JrHigh students (has completed their 6th-8th grade) to come experience their faith in the nature of God. Creating community through their cabin groups, the youth will have opportunities for team building, camp activities (rock climbing, kayaking, archery), daily prayer, and access to the Sacraments. This week long camp will leave your child wanting to come back next year!
A week of formation in God’s creation is often what we need to encounter Him away from our distractions. Camp RIM focuses on reordering our lives so that they are a reflection of God’s plan. That we would first enter into our Relationship with the Lord, for Him to tell us our Identity, and allow that to overflow into the Mission He is giving us. This week is a week of fun, competition, and great growth for those who want to go deeper in their lives as disciples.
